At a chaotic scene, these simple questions
can be nearly impossible to answer. But success often comes
down to managing resources effectively, and in life-threatening
scenarios, every second is critical.
OnSite ERT™ is a portable
and rapidly deployable system for tracking and monitoring
personnel and equipment at emergency events. The system uses
a combination of inexpensive, lightweight ID tags, portable,
rugged Drop Readers, and streamlined Incident Command software
to provide a complete view of the operating theater in real
time.
OnSite ERT is fully automatic,
so responders don’t need to take any special action:
no passing around hang tags or waiting in line to be scanned.
Just show up, and you’re tracked. Drop readers automatically
join any active scene as they arrive, seamlessly expanding
the network at mutual-aid events and centralizing critical
data. Continuous, real-time monitoring means that the Incident
Commander can identify and locate any on-scene resource, on
demand.
More complete and accurate information means
better communication and control. Improve safety and response
efficiency while reducing radio and foot traffic with OnSite
ERT.
Good Luck to all of the departments that
