Rumson Fire Uses Fireman’s
Fund Heritage Program to Purchase OnSite ERT™
Ann Arbor, MI -- May 13, 2009 -- ERT Systems, LLC, a leading provider
of automated resource tracking systems for first responders, announced
that the Rumson, New Jersey fire department has selected OnSite
ERT as its primary accountability solution.
Rumson FD currently has 50 volunteer firefighters who serve a
population of 7,200 across 5.2 square miles. The department will
use OnSite ERT to automatically track and locate firefighters
and equipment while deployed on scene, using wireless ID tags,
portable receivers, and the PAR incident command software.
The department received a grant from the Fireman’s Fund
Heritage Program to purchase the system. For more information
